JPEG is a young professionals network created to help legal and financial professionals under 40 years of age gain exposure, and opportunities to career-building relationships through mentorship, collaboration with peers of all generations, as well as professional development and leadership opportunities.
JPEG was launched in August 2013 and currently has over 160 members, and is the second-largest practice group in the ALFN. JPEG helps young professionals who may need direction toward volunteer opportunities and networking at the national level where the competition is fierce for the few slots that offer career development, exposure and positioning. JPEG coordinates networking mixers, regular teleconferences, webinars, and publishes an annual profile of emerging leaders, while operating as a platform for young professionals to access other leadership roles within the Association and to position themselves as subject matter experts through authorship and education.
JPEG was awarded a Gold Power of A award from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), recognizing JPEG as one of the most innovative association programs in the country.
